The moss will expand as it absorbs water.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e- Gently squeeze out excess water before use leaving a light, evenly damp substrate.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e- Only hydrate the required amount and store the dried remainder for a longer shelf life. \u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e- Tip: Sphagnum moss little to no nutrients of its own, so we highly recommend adding fertiliser when soaking the moss.
