Acer palmatum dissectum 'Tamukeyama' XL 80ltr

Acer Tamukeyama is a vigorous weeping maple variety, known for its deep crimson foliage that maintains its vibrant colour throughout the autumn. Its strong branching structure provides an added feature, creating visual interest even in winter.

Uses:

Weeping Japanese Maples are versatile and hardy trees that suit a variety of garden styles. They thrive in tropical settings, cottage gardens, or even among native plants as a striking contrast or focal point. Ideal for containers, they make excellent tub or planter specimens. In larger spaces, mass planting creates a bold effect, while individual trees can serve as standout features or focal points in smaller gardens.

Plant Care:

Japanese maples generally enjoy a sunny sheltered spot in any garden with good well-drained soil. A good organic mulch will help to keep the roots cool and moist during the hot dry spells experienced over the summer months. Trees can be clipped to form dense solid trees or pruned judiciously to create light dappled shade. To increase the height of a weeping maple you can select a strongly growing branch in spring and stake it upright to the desired height.
