The plants are hardy and tolerate light frosts when mature. They also have huge thorns and make good hedging. Seedlings generally fruit in a few years and these plants are over a year old and ready to be potted up or planted in spring. Seedlings may be male or female (both are required) which is why we sell these in packs of 4.
