Aeonium Green Wave | Green Lotus

Aeonium 'Green Wave' is a variegated shrubby Aeonium resulting from a mutation of Aeonium Mardi Gras . It is characterized by two distinctive colors (green and creamy white). In both summer and winter, the leaf has a central green line with creamy yellow edges.

One of the characteristics of Aeonium 'Green Wave' comes from its leaves which twist and curl in summer like waves to give it a characteristic appearance which is the source of its name.

It has an average ability to produce offshoots and its growth is average for variegata varieties. It is not particularly fragile (except to frost, like all aeoniums).
