Bromeliad Alcantarea vinicolor hybrids

Bromeliad Alcantarea vinicolor hybrids are ornamental bromeliads bred from the Brazilian species Alcantarea vinicolor, grown for their wine-red to deep purple foliage and bold rosette form. They inherit the parent's upright habit and leathery strap-like leaves, which deepen in colour under full sun. Suited to tropical and subtropical gardens, they tolerate full sun and irregular watering once established.
