Calathea makoyana 'Peacock'

Calathea plants are the most popular house plant currently in NZ, with so many different varieties there is something for everyone. Calathea plants are commonly known as Prayer plants as they will curl their leaves up at night and uncurl them during the day.

Water plants well from spring to autumn and more carefully in the winter. For healthy plants keep them away from direct sunlight as to much light will cause yellowing of the foliage. The plants prefer warm temperatures.
