We love this hanging basket—it’s a favourite both at our nursery and in our homes, especially when it’s brimming with lush greenery or cheerful blooms. 

Wire baskets can dry out quickly, so we mix Daltons water crystals into our potting mix to help retain moisture. Less watering means less water waste—great for your plants, and better for the planet. We also add an extra layer of coir at the bottom, using our coir weed mats, which you can see in the fourth photo. This not only supports healthier root systems but enhances water retention too.

The metal hanger is powder-coated for durability and a clean finish, while the liner is crafted from 100% biodegradable coconut fibre (coir)—a renewable material that supports sustainable growing.
