PlantThingy Media Pole

Our PlantThingy Media Poles are easy to assemble and their frosted hexagonal design keeps your plant the main focus. They are easily extendable and expandable to suit your plant needs. 

The reason these Media Poles are so popular is that it goes beyond just growing larger, lush leaves but you can easily check the root growth and keep an eye on your plant's overall health. Media poles allows for your plant to climb the pole, growing roots at every node, making contact with the substrate through the hexagonal cut-outs in the pole. Media poles are a great option for saving space and allows your plant to grow larger, lush leaves.

Once your plant and pole are planted in your nursery pot, fill the pole with any substrate of your choice (sphagnum moss, fern fibre, aroid mix).

• Various sizes available:
  • Small (35cm height x 6cm width - when assembled)
  • Medium (40cm height x 7.5cm width - when assembled)
  • Large (58cm height x 9.5cm width - when assembled)

• Made from frosted PP/ polypropylene and fully recyclable.

• Durable double layered backing creates a sturdy pole.

• Simply fold the pole into shape with the insert tabs. No tools or extra materials are required for assembly, except your choice of substrate to be used in the pole.

• Easily extendable by simply attaching a new pole to the existing one at the top.

• Fold lines on the flat packed pole allows you to fold your pole into shape.

BENEFITS:

• Hexagonal cutouts on the majority of the surface area allows the aerial roots of your plants to grow onto a greater surface area and to enter and exit in more directions, maximising the growth of the plants.

• Slightly wider cutouts to allow bigger plants with chunky roots to enter the pole but yet sized suitably to allow the media of your choice to stay contained within the pole. 

• Multiple rows of insert tab slits allows you to create a thinner or a thicker pole according to your needs.

ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS:

• Simply fold the pole into shape with the insert tabs. No tools or extra materials are required for assembly
• Once your plant and pole are planted in your nursery pot, fill the pole with any substrate of your choice (sphagnum moss, fern fibre, aroid potting mix).
• Attach your plant to the Media Pole using our Plant Clips or Velcro Plant Ties.
