Sarracenia 'Moorei' - cv. 'Ngaire Gray' - Moore's American Pitcher Plant

Sarracenia 'Moorei' - cv. 'Ngaire Gray' - Moore's American Pitcher Plant is a tall, erect hybrid with orangey-yellow and green tubes, a reddish hood, and high windows on the pitcher and hood. This plant closely resembles its parents and showcases a distinguished leucophylla appearance, the other parent being flava. Its traps develop rich colours when exposed to full sun. This cultivar was developed by NZ's very own Don Gray and named after his mother.

• Skill Level: Easy.
• Light: Min 3 hours direct sun, max all day.
• Water: Fill tray, keep in water at all times.
• Dormancy: New leaves stop forming during the colder months and old leaves will slowly die off.
• Potted Option: Pot Size 15cm (2L).
• Bare Root Option: Leaves will be trimmed and roots wrapped in sphagnum for cheaper shipping.

Please note Sarracenia are very large and leaves will have to be bent or cut down to fit in a box. Larger orders are larger boxes. If you need your plant to arrive at full height please message me after ordering to discuss larger box costs. Leaves grow quickly so you don't need to worry about losing some.
