One of the most cold hardy of the Chamaedorea genus, microspadix thrives in locations where winter temperatures periodically dip below freezing. This red fruiting ornamental palm enjoys moist shady locations that are ideally away from strong winds. Perfectly adapted for the tropical garden it makes a great tall living hedge, when planted in multiples. But being tough and easy-care it also makes an excellent indoor palm adding an instant exotic tropical feel.
