九重葛‘Magnifica Trailli’

Climbing sub-tropical shrub forming a dense wall of rich purple – great for covering a fence. It is one of the most stiking, showy plants. It climbs by means of its thorns which from spring through to autumn develop into brilliant glowing magenta flowers. These flowers cover the plant for a long season. Planted on the sunny side of a fence, pergola, trellis, wall or old tree if allowed will completely cover the support.

Best to avoid frosty areas, however this is the most cold tolerant bougainvillea. Can grow in a large pot to control & improve survival chances in marginal areas.

Very strong, hardy grower.
