Sarracenia 'Formosa' - American Pitcher Plant

Sarracenia 'Formosa' is a unique natural cross between minor and psittacina, featuring a short, pinkish-red rosette with tightly clustered pitchers that arch upward from the round hoods. Faint, small white windows can be seen on the hoods and along the thick, waxy tubes of the pitchers. In full sun, the traps exhibit their most intense colours.

• Skill Level: Easy.
• Light: Min 3 hours direct sun, max all day.
• Water: Fill tray, keep in water at all times.
• Dormancy: New leaves stop forming during the colder months and old leaves will slowly die off.
• Potted Option: Pot Size 15cm (2L).
• Bare Root Option: Leaves will be trimmed and roots wrapped in sphagnum for cheaper shipping.

Please note Sarracenia are very large and leaves will have to be bent or cut down to fit in a box. Larger orders are larger boxes. If you need your plant to arrive at full height please message me after ordering to discuss larger box costs. Leaves grow quickly so you don't need to worry about losing some.
