Fern Fibre Substrate is made from a native New Zealand Tree Fern. It is soft, spongy and has fantastic moisture holding abilities while still providing good air circulation, perfect for healthy root development.

• Fernwood Fern fibre substrate is eco-friendly, non-toxic.
• Excellent growing substrate for many different plant types including aroids, epiphytes, orchids, hoya and ferns.
• It has the ability to retain moisture for a long period of time without bogging and encourages healthy growth.
• Can be as a hydroponic substrate.
• Can be mixed in with bark and soil mix for added soil aeration as it maintains air pockets while retaining water, ideal for root growth.
