Narrow Leafed Bird of Paradise 3.3ltr

Strelitzia juncea has bold structural flowers in orange and purple appearing like tropical birds on tall stems in summer. Fascinating narrow, cylindrical grey-green, rush-like foliage. When young they have small spoon-shaped leaves at the end but as the plant ages and matures these straighten out to become almost like a reed.  Prefers a sunny spot, however indoor plants should be slightly away from windows with direct sunlight to avoid burning. Drought and  light frost tolerant. Arguably most impressive when mass planted. The must-have landscaping plant of the moment. Mature size approx up to 1.2m x 1.2m.
