Nepenthes truncata Red Form - Highland Tropical Pitcher Plant

Nepenthes truncata, a species found in the Philippines, has a reputation for consuming entire rats. These fascinating plants are characterized by their massive pitchers, reaching up to 35cm in height, with sloping mouths and noticeable wings. One striking feature is the pronounced peristome.
