Papaya 'Red Lady'

Papaya Red Lady is one of the most delicious and popular dwarf varieties.

This variety fruits early, reliably and prolifically! They won't grow much if at all through the coolest winter months so best to hold in pot and then plant out in spring after which fruit should follow fairly quickly. 

Two plants are recommended for purchase to ensure pollination. (These plants are roughly 33% female, 66% hermaphrodite; hermaphrodites are self-fertile and hold fruit while also pollinating females, lone females will not fruit on their own).

Produces large, sweet fruit that averages 1.5kg to 2kg in weight.
