Philodendron crassinervium

A really interesting Philodendron with long sword shaped leaves. It likes a moist environment with indirect light (imagine its native South American rainforest conditions) and rainwater is better than tap, if you have it. The key with watering is to have the plant in a place where you can water liberally, allowing the water to course through and run out. If you have it in a spot where you're worried about water leaking through to the surface below, that can be a trap for young players! So long as it's planted in appropriately free-draining soil/media, then what it really it wants a regular tropical downpour, not the occasional little ladylike sip.
