Sarracenia oreophila var. ornata (DeKalb County, Georgia, USA) - Green Pitcher Plant

Sarracenia oreophila var. ornata is a variety of the endangered green pitcher plant distinguished by its elaborate dark veining, which gives the traps a striking fiery red-veined effect. This carnivorous plant features a domed lid and represents a more intricate and visually complex form compared to the typical Sarracenia oreophila.

• Light: Min 3 hours direct sun, max all day.
• Water: Fill tray, keep in water at all times.
• Dormancy: New leaves stop forming during the colder months and old leaves will slowly die off.
• Pot Size 15cm (2L).

Please note some Sarracenia are very large in size and leaves will have to be bent or cut down to fit in smaller boxes. Leaves grow quickly so you don't need to worry about losing some.
