Dionaea muscipula 'Akai Ryu' "Red Dragon" - Venus Fly Trap

The name of this cultivar, Akai Ryu, derives from the Japanese phrase meaning "Red Dragon." This elegant Venus Flytrap variety consistently displays rich burgundy-red traps and petioles. Its traps are accented by golden-green edges, and very young plants often exhibit a fully red coloration.

• Type: Easy.
• Light: Min 3 hours direct sun, max all day.
• Dormancy: Autumn and Winter.
• Water: Fill tray, keep in water at all times.
• Dormancy: Over the colder months leaves get much smaller and older leaves die off.
• Pot Size - 10cm (0.75L).
