Encephalartos concinnus

A very attractive Cycad from southern Africa with mid-green, slightly 'woollen' looking foliage that’s very uniform and symmetrical.  Well suited to sub-tropical environments it is relatively easy to grow.

Encephalartos concinnus is a medium sized Cycad that gets to a maximum size of about 3m.  It is moderately fast-growing, prefers full sun but arguably looks better if in part-shade and dislikes frosts. A striking feature plant for the garden.
