With a more arching shape than its cousin, the Pitt Island Nikau, this palm tolerates full sun and windy conditions with ease. The light green trunk and dark green crown make it a striking and architectural feature in any garden. The Kermadec Nikau has lighter green foliage than other varieties and grows to a medium size of 4-5m after ten years.
